Football is a Fall Diocesan Sport. Fall Sports Registration is May 1-21 each year for the following fall season.
Practice usually begins the first full week of August. Season begins mid-September. Teams play 6-8 game regular season. Almost all games are on weekends with an occasionally weekday evening. At some levels St Andrew may need to combine with another parish to field a team.
Provided Equipment: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Game Jerseys, Practice Jerseys, Game Pants
Required Equipment: Practice Pants with 7 pads. Game Pants Pads, Cleats, and Mouth Guard.
Optional Equipment: Elbow Pads, Gloves, Rib Pads, Neck Rolls, Ankle Braces.
Additionally, each family is required to work 1 two hour shift at St. Andrew for concessions duty. The signup sheet can be found here. A $50 check can be submitted to in lieu of volunteering for a shift.
